Some people have the incredible ability to make friends easily.  For me, friendships come much easier in RL than they do in SL.  Sometimes shyness can be mistaken for snobbiness, So think about adopting a new friend today, say hi to someone that appears to be a loner, you never know what treasure you will find in that person.
